About Lilly

Hi! I'm Lilly- a sweet young pup looking for a forever home. I love to be with you wherever you go- whether that’s walking through the house or going outside, I wants to be there too! I was nervous when I first met my foster family but now I love them and wag my tail all the time. I even want to meet all their friends and neighbors! I may be two years old but I am full of energy just like a puppy and I get the zoomies several times a day. My foster family says it's more fun to watch me than watch Netflix! I love long walks with my canine foster siblings and I have been told I'm excellent on the leash. And while I may be energetic, I looooove to sleep right on your lap. I am ready to be your new best friend!!

Lilly is approximately 2y 0m 17d old and may be 30 to 50 pounds when fully grown. They are microchipped and up to date on all age-appropriate medical care. Their breed is unknown as we have not had a DNA test done.

Although our dogs are listed as unknown breed, buildings with specific dog restrictions typically enforce their rules based on what breeds a dog appears to resemble. It's always important to keep that in mind and know your building's policies before adopting a dog.

Mixed / Unknown breed temperament

Every dog is an individual — temperament depends far more on this dog's history and personality than on breed. The rescue's write-up is the best guide.

Exercise

Most adult dogs do well with 30-60 minutes of walking a day plus play and sniffing time.

In a NYC apartment

Ask the rescue about leash manners, elevator and stair comfort, alone-time tolerance, and whether the dog settles in a small space.
